The Farmhouse.
Our farmhouse stay in Tasmania can host up to seven guests, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate toilet. Our first bedroom contains a queen bed, our second bedroom has both a queen and a single bed, and our third room contains two single beds. We can also provide a porta cot upon request.
Filled with beautiful antique furniture, Thornby encapsulates the feel of 1840’s farm life. Each of our rooms sports a view of the stunning expanses of Thornby Farm. Cosy up to the woodfire in our spacious lounge room, and help yourself to the games cupboard, or settle in with one of our books from our extensive library. Enjoy your meals on our 8-seater extension table, or casual setting in the large kitchen area. We also have table tennis set up in another living room, ready for those who want to partake in a post-meal game.

Our animals love to be fed by our guests! If you would like to partake in this activity, please let us know upon securing your booking to arrange a time.
We do not allow smoking either in our farmhouse or on the verandahs.
For a delicious snack, we provide our guests with ingredients to bake some scones, and what better way to top them off with homemade raspberry jam.
